Garden Lattice

This quilt has been a long time coming.  I've had the fabric for this quilt for a few years now, but couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it.  I finally found a picture on Pinterest that caught my attention, made a few alterations, and started it before I could change my mind again.  The timing was perfect since we were going to Maryland for Christmas and this quilt was for my in-laws.

I'm not sure of the official name of this pattern, but I call it Garden Lattice.  With the Flea Market Fancy prints and the layout of the fabric, it reminded me of a lattice you would find in a garden.

The back of the quilt utilizes the rest of the scraps left over from the front.

The binding is a crosshatch patterned fabric I found at Joann's that compliments the Flea Market Fancy prints.

This quilt was a big hit with the in-laws.  I'm really glad they liked it.

  3. What a neat pattern (and the CUTEST location for photos ever!) I love the green, it's a really bold & unexpected color but it pies in the prints beautifully.
